Came here for a business meeting after a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised, the classic lunch set menu was ideal. The tuna, salmon, chicken and pork belly were standouts. Plus the service was very professional and attentive.

Bright and appealing basement bar with a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. Delicious bar food from beautifully marinated lean pork belly, lightly crumbed mushrooms and dusted king prawns. Super polite and friendly staff. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful

Izakaya Den is a bi tricky to find, like many Melbourne venues, its tucked away unmarked, down a flight of stairs - but definitely worth finding! Fabulous menus, great atmosphere - I'll be back!

ID had a prawn special tonight. Grilled with spices. In addition the sashimi, tatami and miso were all really good. But it's the service that matters. ID has great service. And top ambience. And good information about sake. Izakaya is still good. We recommend it.

Went with my wife on an evening of love. Going downstairs, following the signs, we had a choice between Pilates on the right, and Izakaya Den on the left. I'll stretch my stomach at Izakaya Den, thanks! We had a number of tasty dishes, the...More
