We have been frequent diners at Sung’s Kitchen for a number of years. The change of management/ownership initially did not really change much....except the loss of one fantastic server. But things have changed in the past 6 months or so. The service is hit and...More

Unfortunately the food is nowhere what it used to be when Sung was the chef. Quality has dropped considerably as well as the service.Previous reviews advertised in 2009 under Sung should not be used to glorify now. 523Monicat

This was the worst restaurant experience. I would not recommend dining at Sung's Kitchen. Enter at your own risk.

Whilst in Melbourne, my wife and I one evening fancied a Chinese meal. We looked around the heart of China Town but Sungs was a recommendation in our hotel so we thought we would give it a try. We were a little dubious at first...More

Sung's kitchen offers a different menu compared to your usual Cantonese restaurant. For those going for the first time I'd recommend to start with these following dishes: cold chicken salad, chili Antarctic crab (call beforehand to make sure they have Antarctic crab), wonton chicken soup...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
