We had a Wedding Dinner,51 guests in the Bay View Room at No 35. The selected meal and the views were exceptional. Many of our guests could not believe how good the setting and the food was. A superb evening and worthy of the highest recommendation.

We dined here on 24/05/17 as a family of four for a special Wedding Anniversary. When booking online, there was the option to select your special occasion, which I did. No mention was made of it at all during the evening, so I'm not sure why they have that option in place. Even though it was our first time dining... More

After reading the reviews on here about this restaurant, I tried getting hubby to go elsewhere- I'm glad he didn't listen to me!! We celebrated our 3 year anniversary and stayed at the hotel so he wanted an easy and nice dinner (& drinks). The service was lovely and we were guided by our waitstaff (Claudia) who was so nice.... The location is really nice. The restaurant is located at the 35th floor, there's an amazing view of Melbourne, but this is the only positive thing of the night. Our waiter wasn't professional at all. He didn't know the specials of the night, he had to read them and he couldn't even understand what was written on his paper. Ok,... More

I've been coming to the 35th floor for many years and name changes. It always features a well rounded menu and excellent service staff. The views are also lovely to stare at while eating

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch for 4 on Sunday for Mothers Day. The buffet lunch was very nice, lots of choice and very fresh. The wine was delicious and the children were happy with the chocolate fountain. Great views and very good service as well.

Manage to score a table for 2 on the edge - so great views south and west. Food was great and the wine recommend by our waitress was a great match. A nice touch was the "happy anniversary" added to the dessert!

The service from Mitchell was amazing. Despite it being a very busy evening in the restaurant Mitchell was very attentive and provided excellent wine recommendations. Also amazing views of Melbourne!!

I usually don,t eat in hotel restaurants and had not tried this restaurant in many many years. Our party of four had a great night out and enjoyed very good service, great views, a wine list with very reasonable markups and good though unexciting food. The best thing about the evening were the reasonable prices, really no more expensive than... More

Went here in a group for a special event and left underwhelmed, especially considering the cost. Service was extremely slow. Meals very small. The pea bruschetta entree was underwhelming basically being a cold piece of toasted bread spread with cold peas; other meals were similar. It took an hour just to get the entrees and another hour for the mains.... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
