My husband ordered a seafood basket that included calamari and fish bites. His meals were also delicious and fresh.

Beautiful piece of grilled fish with a lovely generous salad. Hunky Dory always has quick service and the staff are very friendly. Love this place!

The Hunky Dory is an awesome restaurant. They have many choices and the fish&ships is so good! The service is fast and the restaurant is enjoyable to dine in.

Grilled fish was delicious, unfortunately rice was hard, dry and undercooked. Generous portion of salad. Upbeat and casual atmosphere in the day.

Popped in because it looked so popular and the prices are reasonable. Our battered fish was soggy and salt & pepper calamai had no flavour. Disappointing all round.

Went today for lunch. Was much better than I anticipated. Absolutely awesome value for money and more than "just a fish & chip shop" Even licensed, so you can enjoy a beer, cider or wine with your sit down meal.

Had a lovely lunch in this seafood cafe. Choose your fish and they cook it for you, with gorgeous salads.

Have had lunch twice here this week! As I'm not a regular to burgers or fish and chips-going here twice in one week is massive! I had the fish burger on both occasions. It was amazing. The salad in it was fresh and tasty and the 2 pieces of fish were cooked perfectly. Photos don't do the burger justice.

Delicious! I really enjoyed the shrimp and burger. Fresh seafood, made to order. Average pricing & seating.

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
