My friends and I really enjoy this place. We've been there a couple times now and there's a heap to choose from.

I always like to eat and go to this dessert place. Place is casual, food is cheap and variety of dessert. All yummy! Obviously will keep on coming back

I ordered a tofu and mango dessert and was very pleased. The coconut milk helped sweeten the dessert and made it taste great. My dad ordered the sago dessert and it was very tasty. I also got a taro bubble tea, it tasted like fruit loops, tad too sweet for my liking, It is a groovy place for a late... More

We were walking through Chinatown and stumbled upon this place. We had found it after dinner so it was a perfect chaser. We were served quickly, the dessert café is small but busy. We order 2 different desserts between 4 people and it was more than enough. The shaved ice bowls were massive and very sweet! A very nice end... More

Delicious and refreshing dessert that is not too sweet (aka guilty). The tofu dessert does have the tofu taste and nice with coconut cream and mango. Only thing is that they should have used real mangoes given they are in season and not the canned stuff which was a bit disappointing. Not a bad place for a rest and having... More

Couldnt even give me a tax receipt despite having a computerised register. The ice was wrong, the flavours and consistency of all ingredients were wrong wrong wrong. If you compare this place with "Meet Fresh" the taiwanese dessert place. Dessert story is an utter disgrace.

Enjoyed a couple of weird but good desserts .. very very busy . They only accept cash thats a downside place is very cramped .. way too many table in a small place. Another negative you have to go to the counter to place your order. Went with a couple of friends tried a couple of different desserts the special... More

They are efficient, what you see is what you get. Tasty and well priced. Mango Tofu is my favourite. Sweetness level is good as well.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
