Highly recommend the food that we had duck curry, seabass, egg noodles, chicken wings and broccoli also a good glass of house... More

Food here is really yum. The restaurant itself is pretty small. I wouldn't want to go there with young kids because the noise just seems to echo around the room. No complaints, staff are friendly. I recommend the satay skewers!

Staff were arrogant and sleazy, food tasted like it was reheated, staff arguing where customers could hear. Promised food would be the best around but definitely wasn't life changing, bland. Wouldn't go again

Do not be put off by the exterior, the food inside is fantastic. As you sit at your table and look into the kitchen you can see that the staff really care about the food, and it shows in the results they put on your plate. Give it a go, it is highly recommended

Dropped by here a few weeks ago as Chi Kitchen had generously sponsored and donated a dining voucher for our fundraiser to help an African based charity NGO. Not to my surprise the food was superb, urbanspoon rating being as high as it is didn’t cease to disappoint. I am extremely particular with dining out Asian food as I always... More

Had breakfast at Chi twice during our recent visit to Melbourne. Chi is a lovely place to start your day, decor is relaxing, staff are really, really friendly and efficient, background music is brilliant and we loved the coffee and food. You must try the Chi scrambled eggs which has a touch of chilli - really makes for flavour. We... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
