Host was so smug, did not make eye contact. Dealing with a long que for a table gave him the sense that he could act terribly important and rude. Food was ok(yum cha, nothing too difficult), no complaints there. Staff just need to work on their attitude

Poor service. We are not going back. It took 2-hours for our order to come. My grandson is so hungry.

GOLD LEAF comes with a great reputation but it was a major failure for Chinese New Year dinner. What should have been a marque night for this restaurant, it did not manage the pressure well. The service was sloppy, the wrong meals were brought to the table and the different courses where sometimes average and occasionally poor e.g. abalone liked... More

Evening a la carte meal had excellent food and friendly helpful service. Surprised by the relatively slow speed of delivery of meals given the small number of people on a quiet Thursday night. The hot and sour soup and the seafood basket were both excellent dishes. Personally prefer the lunch time Yum Cha service but enjoyed the taste and quality... More

Yum Cha here was quite good despite the long wait for the trolleys to come around. Super busy on the day I went, but isn't as good as to what I have had overseas. Probably good enough for a decent Yum Cha in Australia to say the very least.

Beautiful Melbourne setting, and a first class experience that won't Dissapoint. The menu is first rate and the staff are prompt and very approachable. Highly recommended

Mmmmmm delicious. For those that don't know what Yum Cha is, I didn't know, it's Dim Sum bought round to you on a trolley. Because the restaurant is so busy everything was fresh and great tasting. I have eaten some good dim sum and I would put this up here with my favourites.

I came with the corporate groups to have our farewell dinner here. 230 of us really make them busy and seems the coordination on the service area team, would not smoothly run.. we have to wait for the food interval a bit longer... and the fish is taste salty. You have to really work on the menu I may suggest.... More
