I have eaten here 3 times. The 1st two meals were very enjoyable and similar to food I ate in Peru. Last visit was disappointing and will now try a new Peruvian restaurant as service and food quality had slipped

As we were a party of 8 we had to have the set menu - the food was fantastic. The meats were cooked to perfection and the vegetarian dishes delicious

This restaurant has a very cute facade and inside the atmosphere is buzzing. I pulled up a seat at the counter and ordered the salmon cerviche and the calamari. The food was perfection. I had a very enjoyable meal. Not long after I went I...More

Really great experience at Pastuso. The Peruvian food is a little different but not too extravagant for those who don’t like straying too far from the norm. Service was friendly but very slow which was frustrating - we actually ran out of time to have...More

I have to be honest, I've never eaten Peruvian before. I'd definitively be back. Beautiful mix of flavours, difficult to describe to be honest. We had a set meal with numerous dishes, a mix of fish and meat, they where all great. The service was...More

Visited Pastuso a couple of days ago, as we were in the mood to try something different. On arrival, the waiter explained the concept of the sharing plates, so we went with the recommendation of ordering one ceviche, two street food items, one main and...More

Without a shadow of doubt my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Off the beaten track perhaps but go check it out. It buzzes and has a great atmosphere, really good friendly and welcoming staff plus wonderful food. If you get the choice then sit at the...More

We visited here for a late lunch after visiting the NGV. What a gem- I wish I had been hungrier. Amazing Pico spurs and the ceviche was Devine- as for the fried chicken- best ever. A must visit with a group of friends

This restaurant has a nice ambiance but an excessively loud noise level. Even the private dining room which cannot have a closed door enjoyed the high noise level. This place isn’t conducive to conversation The food was not really excellent quality The meat was tough...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

We had an excellent meal and the service was fine but when we said we wouldn't be tipping the waiter turned mean. If the service is above and beyond then I am inclined to tip but in Australia it is not an expectation and we... More
