I first went to The Flower Drum decades ago and it was a big occasion thing to do for special birthdays with the family. The service and food were great and the restaurant had a vibe. This time, the service was still first class, the...More

Great service but as other reviews have advised it's not enough to justify the absorbatent prices. I was horrified to see the dim sum looked just like the frozen stuff you get at the supermarket for $8 a pack. The chefs should work to make...More

We've been to Flower Drum many times and it nevers dissappoints. The standand of service is excellent and always professional. Food is pricey and really depends on what you order. They excell at seafood dishes so don't order things like roast duck.

Went to this restaurant whilst in Melbourne with my friend. Food was very delicious and the service was five star.

Fantastic dining experience. I'm told it's a Melbourne 'must' and we were not disappointed. Countless courses exquisitely presented with attentive service, incredible wine list, and quiet enough for table of 8 to have a conversation. Rare. Incredible bill to match so come prepared.

Must start by saying the service was extraordinarily accommodating. Our group of 6 varied their set menus in a number of ways (e.g. 4 for truffles, 2 without) and they got everything right. The food is certainly a cut above on average so you can...More

This is a very traditional feeling Chinese restaurant that my dining companion noted had a similar vibe to those he had frequented in Shanghai. This is a discretely elegant establishment that could be betrayed by the groundfloor lift entrance but one you are in the...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place
simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude
a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration

Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your
money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving
