The restaurant has a very dark, romantic atmosphere to it. I came here with two girlfriends and we shared some food and wine. The spicy chicken ribs were the favourite by the group, just delicious! The staff were great and always ready for service when...More

The food is varied and delicious. The staff are excellent and relaxed while still giving good service. The menu is extensive but staff can help you and don't forget to have the son-in -laws balls. The atmosphere is relaxing and you are not rushed.

A fantastic little restaurant. There is a great selection on the menu, I highly recommend the Wagyu strip loin, and the Hapuka. Both were excellent. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and attentive throughout and very good humoured. Though small, it felt cosy and had...More

Am in Melbourne for a few weeks and am trying many of the great Resetraunt's. Food, service and atmosphere here was generally excellent. Defiantly on the expensive side however. There is a lot better value around for sure.

This is a great restaurant for fine fusion creations. It is really popular; be ready for an early/ late sitting (if any!) without a booking. (I'd recommend booking via phone/ website). The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The bar staff make amazing...More

We were met on arrival and taken straight to our table. We chose our dishes rather than have a banquet and we chose well. The whole baby snapper, duck leg red curry and chicken ribs were stand outs, but we enjoyed every dish. Our waitress...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place

Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes

Melbourne restaurants don't really have a long life span. Ginger boy, unfortunately is one of these, with pricey menu's, and ordinary service, there are much better experiences to be had. For a Hens night, I would suggest... More

The dining experience at Gingerboy is centered on a modern Australian adaptation of the Asian hawker-style street market food. The restaurant's hustle and bustle, its fast-paced, youthful and dynamic environment is influenced not only by the dining culture of Southeast Asia but also by buzzing Asian marketplaces and an Asian sense of colour and fun.
