Food quality was good, but staff could have been more friendlier. As we initially booked for 20 people but the group cut down to 12 people in the end. So the staff was quite impolite to us at first (I can understand why they are mad but still) but the quality of food didn't disappoint us.

I have been to Oriental Spoon. Food is good. It seems like they are quite busy. The price is quite okay ranging from $12 to $15 for lunch.

Oriental Spoon is very popular restaurant for Korean food, prices very reasonable ranging from $12-15 for lunch Food very tasty I would definitely recommence for lunch. I have been to Oriental on the weekend it get very busy you may have to wait for your table Dinner menu a little more expensive compared to lunch menu.

Just dropped in for a quick lunch as was on a time frame. Chose off the huge lunch menu on the front window. It was a mixed plate with spicy pork, rice, kimchi, salad and some little bites for about $13.00 !!! Great value and amazing flavours. The meal was delivered in double quick time. My only regret was that... More

It feels like walking into a small arena of K Pop craze girls, just less screaming. This huge and super popular Korean joint is always full just about every night. Not your romantic dinner destination as it is loud and just full of actions, cafeteria style. This Korean eatery serves traditional dishes, but I suggest go for the Hot Pot.... More

We had some pretty decent Korean fare. The kimchi especially, was outstanding - best I have eaten in a restaurant. Service was good, waiters polite and helpful.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
