This is a cheap and cheerful. Don’t expect attentive service or gourmet food here. It’s a wam! bam! A place where you’ll leave with a full belly and not much lighter in the pocket. Service is super quick and certainly not personable. You’ll soon find...More

Fantastic place for a cheap eat and the food is delicious! Order the $16.50 all you can eat (minimum 4 people). Very fast service. You definitely come to this place for the food, not the aesthetics.

Came with a quick dinner with a family of five on a Wednesday night. Love this place. Dumplings are delicious and appear with a speed that is hard to believe. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Yummy dumplings and super cheap and very very quick. Not the best dumplings out there but still pretty good.

We pretty much always eat here every visit to Melbourne. Contrary to other reviews, i don't think the quality has changed much, if at all. What you get is super fast, cheap, predictable dumplings with surly service in a run down "restaurant". We laugh about...More

Nice variety of dumplings and other dishes. Value for money for quick eats and beer. Great pork steam dumplings.

This place is a circus. If you're young, with a big party, like a lot of noise, and don't care too much about the food then this will probably suit you. The service was terrible. Drinks were constantly forgotten. We were a party of ten...More

Came here years ago and was a bit hesitant to revisit after reading reviews. We expect dodgy in terms of furniture but the dumplings were still good! 4 plates of food and a soup for under $40. You can't go wrong!

Shanghai Dumpling was *the* place to come and enjoy the most delicious dumplings in Melbourne 2-3 years ago. But today it's just run down, dirty and the food is awful. The place was always filthy, but now the splatters on the wall are thick and...More

Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place

Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your

Hi Lauren. There might be vegan dumplings. Best way to find out for sure would be to contact them directly for an answer.

When I went I was with a gluten free friend and she ate so I know they would have something although not dumplings. Actually they had a really lovely streamed ginger fish if I remember correctly.
