When my bf and I first arrived at the restaurant there was only 1 other customer in store. The place had a cozy vibe despite and the waitress made us feel welcome straight away. There were only 4 choices of steamed/boiled dumplings to choose from so it made it easy to decide what we wanted. Our dumplings were ready pretty... More

Haven't been here for quite a while. The place was quite empty when we decided to have dinner. We should have realised then as it used to be packed. Entree we had meat kebabs, very tough. Mains came out straight after entrees, so no gap. Chilli chicken was nice but extremely hot. 🌶. Deep fried squid was tender but lots... More

When we asked for the special of the day we were directed to a chicken dish that was clearly bordering on being "off" - fatty and of no flavour - Needless to say we couldnt eat our meal and didnt bother with the second dish as the first was just so bad

From reading all the reviews on Trip Advisor, would say that they were written before this place changed ownership. The beautiful and delicious Malaysian-Singaporean food is now replaced by food from mainland China, which is not as tasty, jaded with oil, does not have the spice aroma from South-East Asia. When we went into the restaurant, the waiter didn't noticed... More

For those of you after a simple little restaurant, low key, BYO, friendly staff and the yummiest food here is the place to go. This is one of our regulars, particularly prior to a show if the Fringe Festival is on or if we are heading off to the Ellington. We have never been disappointed from the dumplings, salt and... Remember this place from years ago when you had to book a table and were assured a meal that was not only delicious but one that was not your run of the mill Chinese fare. Change of ownership hasn't resulted in a sustained or improved operation. The food I had was OK, the winner of the night was the Ma... More

We ordered three dishes between three adults with rice. We managed to eat it all but then we regretted it, we were all so full. So portions were a good size. The szechuan green beans were fantastic, the mongolian lamb great and I suppose the chilli chicken was really good (but I'm not a fan of chicken... so I didn't... More

We used to love this place. We heard it had closed down and reopened. We were excited to go back to an old favorite. The new owners have kept the old name but that's where the similarity ends. The food and service were a far cry from the days of old. No soft chili crab and no amazing fried rice... More
