Really wanted to dine and Review Little Bird but on putting in New North Road address couldn't find the place - asked at another cafe to be told they've moved???? Disappointed!

After being advised to visit the venue by our friends, we were there for breakfast. We found the table easily since we arrived early. We found ourselvesin a very friendly environment, the waitress was very helpful in deciding what to order (was very patient for our endless questions too) and ordered our food immediately. When we received our orders, we... More

Went to the Little Bird Unbakery for the 1st time today, after hearing so much about it. Small entrance, off a side street in the Ponsonby are, but inside are plenty of tables. It was busy, but we were served quickly. I chose the Spicy Hot Chocolate, my wife chose the Tumeric Late. Both were excellent, very tasty. Accompanied by... More

As a Christchurch vegan, the little bird unbakery has been on my to-do-list when in Auckland! I'll tell you what, I was not disappointed! I ate some of the best food in my life here and the caramel slice is to die for! Can't wait for my next visit to see the wonderful team and eat delicious plant based food!

From its trendy interesting interior, thoroughly enthusiastic staff and funky arrangement you move onto the drinks and food. So damn hard to choose - its overwhlemingly good. The kimchi pancakes were recommended by our waiter, so I was led to agree - they were fresh zingy with flavor and really fulling. My mocha was a lovely strong chocolate flavour. Most... More

Organic (mostly), raw, tasty, friendly. If you are after quality vegan please, the unbakery will be great choice for you. Cons: Organic, tasty, friendly, quality food. Cons: Busy, some items are too expensive for what it is (e.g. Iced coffee $14), often inconsistent quality (iced coffee milkshake one day rich, thick and other days watery, place and tasteless for $14... Description
A little birdie told us food should be three things:mostly raw, definitely organic and full of goodness. So here at little bird we do just that and with all that combined, the result is pure deliciousness. Why raw? Raw foods are in their purest state- no heating above 46'C. This ensures the food retains all its enzymes and nutrients and its life force, which means every bite contain more goodness for your body. Organic foods are grown without harmful chemicals. No chemicals in the food means no chemicals in your food or environment. Goodness, because food should be good for you, packed with all the nutrition you need to feel fabulous. Goodness tastes good too. We are completely gluten and dairy free and proudly serve plant based menus that suit anybody really as well as vegans, vegetarians and healthy minded people looking for an easy way to include more goodness and nutrition in their diet.
