One of the worst dining out experience. The old lady was bordorline mentally unstable. We ordered 2 mains for 3 adults and dumplings for kids. She wasn't happy with that. Stood there staring at us while we were eating. We were given only one serving of sides. We asked a staff member for more. We never said we wanted it... More
Dropped in Friday night and was a bit unsure what to expect walking up the nondescript staircase. However, met by friendly owners who put us on a table over looking the street. Quiet when we arrived at 6pm, but soon it's busier. Big choice of a range of classic Korean dishes, and some good beers and wines. I recommend the... More
Read the reviews and decided to give it a go as we had limited time to eat before our show. The broken lift and rather dodgy entry via the stairs was a bit of a laugh and the restaurant looked clean and the staff were friendly. What let it down was the food. I did not think the dishes offered... More
I've been eating here for years, and it's never disappointed me! The menu is varied and you can always try something different. Lots of vegetarian options too. the staff are quick and to the point - just the kind of service you're after when you're grabbing a relaxed meal. Bit hard to find but worth it once you make it... Food was horrible. Ordered BBQ pork, the meat came out looking dry and the texture was weird. The seafood pancake was definitely the worse, it was super oily and the there was so much batter, you can only taste the batter.
We had a craving for Korean food, and we found this restaurant fitting whilst searching TA for Korean food in Auckland. We got a really bad first impression, with a "back alley" entrance and people smoking pot on the stairs at the entrance. Coming inside it did barely get any better. The restaurant was lit like a sports arena, and... More
The food here is still just as good as its always been for years. Still has not changed. Ordered the fish roe spicy soup and the beef bulgogi and they did not disappoint. Noticed that there is a new change now that there is a charge of $1 now if you wish to refill the side dishes per dish. Probably... More
We try to visit this place whenever we are in Auckland. I've always go for the Samgyetang (Chicken soup) or the kalbi. We love Korean food and the atmosphere this place give is perfect. they are usually full of people and the smell of food in the air smelt authentic. We came in as a group of 16 late at... More
