Great steaks in what turned out to be an Irish bar or pub - loved the Guinness T-shirts! Friendly staff, good choice of typical pub meals.A busy place, which is always a good sign!

If you need a decent meal and you like your Steak and Chips - this is definitely the place to go to! The service was a bit slow, but the pub was pretty packed as well, so no blame for this here ;-) So a safe bet for a good meal!

Very nice Irish bar with good pub food - pasta was delicious. Located right at the bridge in the centre of town.

Typical pub style bar and restaurant. Great value for money and generous sized meals. We went their on their Trivia night. Good fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

My favourite pub in Gisborne. Frequented by my father-in-law we enjoy our opportunities to enjoy for a drink or two when we're passing through. Clean, river views, friendly staff, tasty food and Guinness on tap!

Being a Sunday evening the pub was very animated with numerous family groups. This is the kind of atmosphere that makes a pub/restaurant welcoming and to top it all off the food and service were very good. Realistically priced and a good varied menu. We both had the Guinness pie which was delicious. Recommended.

A retired couple for one night in Gisborne. Tried this restaurant at random and so glad we did for this Saturday night. We enjoyed lovely ambiance, prompt service given the overflowing customers and lots (and lots) of excellent food. Shared our table with another couple because it was so busy. We took enough back home for a full meal next... More

We went here for dinner. We had squid rings to share as a starter and then a main course each. It was more than enough as the portions are huge. The fish and chips and the seafood platter was fantastic. You can get a doggy bag if you shouldn't be able to eat it all up. The platter serves two.... More
