best value ice-creams in a cone - lots of flavours and big scoops. Just make sure you push the ice-cream down into the cone or the can fall of on first lick.

The chips were crunchy on the outside and soft in. We did order two spring rolls that were huge and too much for us. However what... More

We love the Ice cream. We ordered three different flavors and yes definitely so yummy, and again location was superb just infront of the water.

The portion was huge, I asked for 3 piece of fish with 1 scoop of chips and I got 4 big pieces of fish and a ton of chips. They were hot, delicious and served very quickly, sooner than I was told to expect. The place was very busy with take out and it was close to 6pm. Most were... More

We took the opportunity to get "the best fish & chips in Gisborne as we were staying accross the road for a night. Captain Morgans was highly recommended but the reality was far from the promise. A woman (I presume the owner) stood at the counter yelling orders at the staff who looked embarrassed and berated, the customre service was... More

Staff busy and not terribly interested in being friendly. Don't think one staff member even made eye contact. However, it's ok for a quick ice cream after a day at the beach.

Situated next to the beach. A welcome sight after arriving very late the night before. Good, morning coffee. Reasonable priced breakfasts. Plenty of staff. Fast service. Lots of choice for whole family. Room for outside dining. Not fancy, but perfect for the average kiwi family.
