Recent Xmas dinner held here Beautiful food Great service Being here 3 times this year Reasonable prices Simple pricing structure and simple menu choices usually one of each chicken,meat, fish,pork but worth it . Nice desserts too! Highly reccommended

This restaurant is under new management and now called Peppers (see reviews for Peppers). The new owners are doing a great job. The food and service is good, the outdoor seating has been updated - the view is amazing.

Our motel manager recommended Peppers for Brunch and what a recommendation. Parking was easy being right outside and then up a flight of stairs to an elevated view out over the beach – WOW! Just feel so sad. Best position in Gisborne, but best bet is to just keep looking out of the window, the inside decor is disappointing, the veranda, which could be marvellous, is bare, boring and disappointing. The menu was trying to be exciting, but the prices were top end and to be honest there are far better places to eat... More

Up the stairs to what was "Pete's on the Beach". Across the road from a swimming pool and old gaol. Situated on the edge of the bay, the best location in town, the most average of offerings.
