Went over for dinner on Saturday with family. Ordered sirloin steak, lamb shank and Lamb loin. Apart from shanks and steak, lamb loin was undercooked. Told the staff about it but got told that's how it is made. Staff did not even come two ask how the meal was after it was severed. So if u r keen on having... More

Great service - we were greeted by friendly staff, specials were clearly explained and enough time to decide on what to have - promptly entrees came out and dinner was served without waiting the food was very satisfactory. I would go back again.

We decided to go to this place after looking at the menu. Had linguini and risotto with grilled kumara. Great food and wine 😀

We stopped in here for a drink while wandering around Eat Street. The oysters looked great - and they were. Also had several of the apps including the sticky pork ribs - yummy!

We, a family group, went for breakfast in Rotorua's "Eat Street" on a recent Sunday morning. One of our family members has a particular dietary constraint and, whilst we did not expect to find a menu item that could fully meet the restraints, we did expect that her meal could have been modified by making a couple of minor changes... Picked this restaurant from the others because of the specials out front. Suggestion maybe to have someone there to assist or to entice in. Looked to be only two waiter people and it did get busier. Food, however can quickly and the wine, and was really good. We are glad we picked this place even lacking someone there initially.

The seafood chowder was average but the buffalo chicken wings were total let down. They were not buffalo wings, hot and spicy as written on the special menu but rather like BBQ chicken wings in sweet BBQ sauce. I told one of the staff and he replied "ohh we have this for few years already". Solace Cafe, you need to... More

The food was yum except my mum's sirloin was a bit tough. The pasta and soup were delicious and as for the desserts #drool so good! Service was with a smile. It was quick and easy and just a nice atmosphere. Would go back again for sure.

Eat street location, attractive restaurant with comfortable seating and tables not tightly packed together. Bathrooms desperately in need of renovation, toilet seat fell off when used and the hand drier would not work. Lovely staff but I don't think the cooks understand the menu. Linguine was silky, creamy and very tasty. Tapas Cheap (just $3.50 per dish) but not plated... More
