Just called in for a cappuccino and snack....what an interesting place and interesting people too....asked if they had any sweets/cakes and yes they did, hidden behind lots of other things on their shelving! Not overly impressed with the service/manner but it really is worth a visit, a very 'different' décor to say the least, but most of all the cappuccino... More

Great night out with friends, we had a table of 6 and everyone was happy with their meals. The view was lovely with fish jumping and experience was nice. Unfortunately as I write this I have to say even tho it was 'nice' I feel like it was in spite of being at manous instead of because of being at... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Manou's. We went for seafood which was freshly cooked and served attractively . yhe salad was delicious. The décor is colourful and interesting too say the least! the casual atmosphere encourages interaction with other patrons which we really enjoyed. Service was great and menu varied and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return.

This was our first meal in New Plymouth and the location by the sea took our fancy because of the harbour side location. Although we enjoyed our meal we were a little disappointed with the general ambience of the premises and felt that the furniture would have been better suited to a seaside pub. \we met Manou in town the... If you are looking for food on a Sunday, but no other restaurants are open, then do check this place out. Food Aspect - After we were seated, the owner advised us that they cannot accommodate any deep fired dish, because their fryer is having a oil change. This means our selection is extremely limited. Never the less, we ordered... More

I have eaten at Manou's on many occasions, it used to fairly good, but the last couple of times the place has been dirty and understaffed, and the food has been poor. When paying good money for a meal, I expect good quality ingredients, eg - streaky bacon, not stringy shoulder bacon. The kids meals and drinks were well over... More

After you've been on Chaddy's cruise this is an obvious place to get refreshment, because it's right next door. But Manou's is really worth a visit even if you don't. When your meal arrives, you will drool just looking at it and the chips served are perfect. Obviously, sea food is emphasised but we were a party of six and... More

One of the best pan fried scallops I ever had was here. It was delicious, good quantity and very well presented. The feta pieces and the greens were tasty accompaniments. The fries were perfect brownish and crisp. Can't find any fault with this dish. The service was good and quick. The location and the views from the cafe fantastic. My visit... More

There are not many restaurants in New Plymouth that have a view. We chose to eat down at the port to enjoy the sunset which is always nice in New Plymouth. It was warm enough for us to take one of the outdoor tables. The food was good. I had scallops, and they were nice. My friend was pretty happy... More
