Quite enjoyed our last visits but this last one was really good. We shared 2 entree (3 of us) calamari and belly pork, very good. Then the mains 2 pasta dishes and a lamb salad. Again very good. The waitress was a lovely English girl who was attentive and friendly and had great help when trying to decide on a... More

We ate lunch here as we were just passing through Taupo. We started off outside but moved inside to escape the breeze. Nice to have the choice of dining out or in. The lunch menu has plenty of choice. We had small plates: mussels, pork and chowder. I would have liked my food a little hotter but it seems in... More

We went for dinner 3 times. Real good food, tasty, not so expensive and the service... ahhhh the service was really friendly. The second time we went there, the waitress remembered that my wife didn't like iced water. She came straight with what we wanted.

We dined at Vineyard Eatery & Bar earlier this week while on holiday. We took a seat in the bar area under an exposed ceiling pipe dripping liquid onto the table. We ordered drinks then sat watching them sit behind the bar for about 10 minutes before they were eventually brought to our table. We ordered 3 tapas and 2... More

The menu is great and the food even better since the chef has changed. Service is excellent, our waitress memorised approx 20 orders without noting a single down! Will definitely be back and recommend

This didn't start so well after being shown to a table wedged between a post and a noisy table of 6 who had obviously been waiting a long time for their main courses. We heard our waiter tell them that their main courses were on the way and wouldn't be long. However, after waiting nearly 20 minutes before we were... More

We have eaten here before so had to go back. Love the share plates so ordered 4 between us. Also love the wine wall where you can go up and browse the wines available and choose which one you want. Food was delicious as our last visit. Staff were friendly and attentive. We will return.

Dined with friends last night and was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in till the time we left the service was excellent. Food was even better. Had a couple of share plates to start with and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I had the duck main which was cooked to perfection. Very tasty and good size... More

The food tasted wonderful and the service was good. I had the ragout pasta - there were two prices, a smaller and larger portion, I chose the smaller. I am not into big servings but this was much smaller than I thought any meal would be. However it tasted divine. And it left me room for dessert, the chocolate one...also... More
