Sitting on the water, over looking the tauranga harbour. Great food, and location. A short walk from town, or they have their own car park.

We came here to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was attentive to our every need. The ambience of the restaurant was quite intimate and romantic with our table facing the harbour. We enjoyed a tasty and beautifully presented 3 course meal and wine and look forward to coming back here very soon.

Harbourside is right on the water with superb views. The food is exquisite and staff very attentive. It has a great atmosphere - busy for the right reasons - so it probably would be wise to book.

Visited Harbourside a few times over the years and as far as I remembered the meals were exceptional but yesterdays meals were very below average. I had the duck dish and it only had a few Udon noodles, one small piece of broccoli and one small slither of mushroom. Very disappointing. My sister did not like her fish and chips... More

My wife and I thought it would be a great venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The ambience is good with a nice setting overlooking the tauranga harbour. Unfortunately we felt the quality of the meal in some respects was not up to standard with the prices they charged. The pork belly dish for starters was great. My wife... More

A friend and I landed up at 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening without reservation during a recent trip to Tauranga. The hostess was very kind to accommodate us though they were booked up. We had the salmon and mussels accompanied with some great wine recommended by the hostess. Fantastic ambience and great food. Overall a wonderful experience.

After a rather long absence from Tauranga, my new partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a quality dining experience. We were mot certainly not disappointed! From the mouth-watering, interesting and quirkily presented menu, to the beautiful, attentive service we received and a high quality (and presentation) of meals, this establishment is an absolute delight. Rather surprised with some... More

We were in Tauranga for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and on the Sunday evening thought it would be nice to go to a quality restaurant for diner. We found the Harbour Side web site advertising: As you dine, you’ll take in views across the blue expanse of Tauranga harbour. (Reservations are recommended, especially if you would like... More

Not usually one to complain.. But for the prices i feel it's important to make people aware of what they are in for. A host who clearly doesnt want to be there with a rather unwelcoming attitude, a wine list which lacks any passion or interest, prices which out weigh the quality of the food and service which is scarce... Our family adult group were enthusiastically met by our knowledgeable waitress (K.....) who quickly and efficiently processed or drink and food orders. Very acceptable waiting time for superb main courses which all met with 100% approval all followed by yummy deserts. Lovely to be served by a waitress with a fun, good sense of humour!
