The food was good and the service was bubbly,so we had a very pleasant evening indeed amidst unpretentious and lively surroundings. The amount of choice on the wine list was also an added bonus!

The restaurant which is part is The Ibis hotel, looked good and quite busy. Being rather tired we thought we'd try it. So glad we did, the food was beautiful - and hot! My husband had the Pork Belly , which was tender and sweet. I had the fish of the day , which was so delicious. Good choices

The breakfast buffet was complete with cold cereals, fruits, yogurt, three types of eggs (hard boiled, scrambled and hard poached), bacon, two types of sausages, beans, and sauteed mushrooms...and I probably missed some items. Tea, a choice of coffees (regular and espresso) and milk available too. A selection of breads and sweet rolls, along with cheese and meat slices were... More

It was very convenient eating at the hotel where we were staying. The full buffet breakfast offers a wide choice for all tastes, and the dinner menu offered a varied menu. Compliments to the chef! The staff were also very cheerful and obliging.

Had dinner one night at Vivant, which is part of the Ibis Hotel. Nice dinning area, not a huge menu but had a varied selection of food. I had from the grill the Chicken Breast. I came with roasted vegetables. The price was $28.50. Steaks are available as well as fish, lamb and salads. Burgers are also offered. There is... More

It was a Thursday night and my partner and I both finished work late (6.30pm) and wanted to have a meal in town before heading home to Upper Hutt. We went to a couple of other places first but we were put off by how noisy they were. I suggested we try Vivant! (the restaurant in the Ibis Hotel on... More
