A small but diverse menu - the elk tartare I had as a starter was exceptional - and mains cooked to perfection. Real stock in all dishes included mushrooms, but the chef prepared a specific dish for my hyper allergic guest. Sweets ( and I'm not a sweet toothed person usually) we're both sublime and beautifully presented. Being able to... More

Always a cheerful greeting and warm welcome when we go for coffee at Larder Love sitting by the fire on a chilly day Breakfast selection is varied and the pancakes are delicious Resonably priced and very popular but still able to pop in spontaneously. Plenty of on street parking and ease of access with good amenities.

We had dinner at The Larder last Saturday night and we were hugely impressed. The place was buzzing and the food was fresh, delicious and beautiful plated. Is not often you want to order just about everything off the menu. The meals were perfectly sized and well priced and the staff were friendly and attentive despite being so busy. Can't... More

Tried the burger and Omg so good. I wish it was local to me so I could eat it more! Was $24 which is a lil pricey, but still worth it as a treat!

We had a wonderful lunch here. You can have anything from a light lunch or coffee to a full meal and the staff were friendly and attentive. It's in a quiet neighnourhood but well worth visiting.

Went here for lunch today, very pleased with our choice. I had sardines on seed toast, delicious, my husband had the whitebait crepe also delicious ( I had a taste!). Will definitely be back!

This place must get so much foot traffic as it is right next to the Weta Digital Cave - it would be easy for the staff to get a little complacent or unfriendly with so much transient trade - couldn't be further from the truth....the staff were attentive and friendly and the food was awesome. This place is well worth... More

This is straight forward to review, simply excellent. Great food, well presented in a welcoming environment. But still made special. Another great bonus of Wellington Eastern 'burbs!

We had eaten here before it had changed hands and what was once a nice homely cafe type of place, has now been converted into a very nice, fine dining experience. We were only popping in for a light snack as we were expecting coffee and cake but were tempted to try out the brunch/breakfast menu. It was delicious and... More
