I've been here several times now, and last night's antics left me with a craving for the spicy beef soup. It did it for me! I'm convinced that it's better than my favourite food stall in the outskirts of Saigon!!

Saigon Taste was the catalyst that sparked my love affair with Vietnamese cuisine. I have visited this restaurant numerous times over my 3 years in Wellington and it never disappoints! From the coffee to the pork buns and the pho, it is all delicious. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. I miss living in Wellington and... More

Arriving to Wellington late at night in terrible cold rain, I really had high hopes for this place, which was supposed to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in town, but I was hugely disappointed after running in heavy rain and strong wind all the way here. On top of that, the amount of MSG in the soup of the Pho... More

We looked at various reviews with Pho as the search term. We found that Saigon Taste has excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. Our mission was to find a well made nourishing broth. Our Pho satisfied and our starters were delicious.

We were hoping to eat in a very popular restaurant near by but it was over crowded and there were loads of people waiting to be served so we tried this place. We did not regret it great chicken and beef/meat ball Pho. Quick efficient service. We shared a substantial starter - prawns (fresh summer rolls) they were good. Excellent... More

Beef noodle soup was scrmptious, they used high quality meat (tasty and tender), soup was the best. Service was very good. Will return to try another dish before I go back to the US.

This is a simple but charming little restaurant not from from Courtenay....on Majorbanks. The chicken pho was one of the best I've ever had, with beautiful slices of white chicken meat. My husband ordered a pork and noodle stirfry, which was served with carrot, mint, lettuce, tiny egg rolls and other fresh and colorful ingredients. The small staff is humble... More
