Had a full cooked breakfast here. Hash Brown was home made and excellent, sausage was a very tasty one, lots of bacon and sine spinach on the side. All very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly and happy to engage and have a laugh even on a busy Sunday morning. Good work.

Very enjoyable meal , interesting well cooked meal. Warm haven on a cold night. Service excellent. Unfortunately an extra bottle of wine put on the bill. Luckily we picked it up , $59.00. Given cash back with an apology. Just shows you need to check the bill even at reputable restaurants.

Accommodated a large group for brunch at short notice. Food was delicious and staff friendly. Sat outside sheltered from the rain but warm and comfortable.

The garden area when it was raining was too wet to sit in and at any moment looked and felt like it would collapse (as staff commented too) and we'd all get wet, so opted to wait for a table in the cafe as we have been many times before on trips to Wellington and alway had a good breakfast.... Four of us dined on a Friday evening and the food was superb. Great choices and accommodated a GF & DF diet. Good veggie selections too. Great service. We would definitely return.

Looking for a place to have dinner and looked up TripAdvisor of course, but there were so many listed in Cuba St I forgot which ones I had marked to go to! However I saw the name and remembered that Olive was one. It certainly looked impressive from the outside - elegant, restrained, quiet, plenty of room inside. And it... More

We had the 3 course meal on Tuesday night. Meal was delicious, great wine list and the staff are delightful. Great ambience and welcoming environment made this a wonderful experience for us both. We will eat here again before leaving Wellington.

Lovely little cafe in Cuba Street, Wellington. Interesting choice of food. Friendly staff. Good service. Able to look out at passing street activity. Also a garden area, but too cold for me to try.
