If you are down for a no frills just honest to goodness chinese food this is the place to be. Everything is reasonably priced and portions are hefty, Ive never been dissappointed with... More

A great place with friendly service. Food is authentic and the serving size generous. A place worth coming back to over and over !

You can beat KC for service but you cant beat it for Bbq pork, Roast Pork or Duck. The clay pot aint too bad either. Get i. There for a cheap, huge, tasty cantonese feed.

If you like a nice juicy roast duck this is the place to go. I've found that and the spicy groper wings excellent. A desert specialty of theirs is the Cantonese tau foo fa - almond based desert served hot. Yum!

I have eaten here since I came to Wellington, which should be more than three times a week for a period of (almost) three years. Besides bbq pork, crispy pork, roast duck, and other popular dishes; there are far more delicious menus, e.g. KC tofu, Chinese Broccoli (Gailaan) with crispy pork, KC stir fried, pork with black mushroom, watercress stir... I used to work next to KC cafe 8 years ago and went there quite often for lunch which I always enjoyed. Living overseas and being back in WLGTN for a quick visit I went to KC again and well, it is still the same great food as it was back then. My favourite dish is the salt and pepper... More

Food was great. Service was ok, ambience could be better. We had the Claypole eggplant, roast pork, roast duck, choy sum with garlic, char koay teow. Everything was yum. We'll be back but probably for takeaway. Seating area wasn't so convenient for family dining.

After living on tory street for several months and only having KC Cafe whilst rather fueled up on Vodka Sodas and Pinot Noir at 2am, myself and the flat mates decided to shoot down and get some takeaways to feed the gang coming over for poker night. Albeit a rather long wait, 75minutes to be accurate we were soon on... More

Ordered a sweet and sour chicken takeaway and I felt sick after eating less than half of it... had to throw it out. The battered chicken was over cooked so bad it was dry and chewy. There was so much oil in sauce as well (I think that is what is making me feel unwell at the moment. Took a... More

I've been there sooooo many times. Food is awesome, you're never waiting that long. Opening so late (til 3am) on the weekends. Prices are really low compare to what you're eating. That's real food. Only bad point : the cashier looks like she's gonna killl herself anytime... Maybe she doesn't want to do this job anymore and so my advice... More
