I was totally over lacklustre badly breakfasts. Overcooked chewy inedible bacon and dubious eggs seem to have become the norm these days. Not so at Felix. Just had the best breakfast in a long time. Beautifully cooked EDIBLE delicious bacon and eggs, lovely well seasoned roast portobellos and a GREAT coffee. All brought to the table in double quick time... More

The cafe is on a corner near to Jervois Quay. The customers seemed to be mostly locals which is usually a good sign so we opted to stop here for breakfast. We had Plum and cheese muffin, and apple cake and yogurt both were moist and flavoursome. The coffees were was also good.

First of all, the shakshuka was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice! The staff was also very kind, after eating, I settled down to do some work, but a large group wanted my table, so I agreed to move and I found out that my latte was comped :)

A menu full of temptation, though hope the food is more plentiful than the menus...good coffee. Tried the chicken/ bacon salad...also saw other dishes using the 'toasted' slices....perhaps in over-reaction to health scares the term toasted might better be heated momentarily...otherwise delicious and adequate portion.

Brought my parents here for brunch on our Sunday morning in Wellington. We rang ahead to book a table, which was definitely a good idea. We all very much enjoyed our food, opting for eggs on toast and pancakes. Service was swift and very friendly, and prices were reasonable for the location. Would highly recommend!

Nice place, friendly people, good looking food. Coffee and plenty of seating. Seemed busy which is a good sign. Prices are good and very close to the information center.

Good people watching spot if you get a window table. Breakfast was nice but not overly special and of average price for what we had.
