We had a really nice breakfast here and the food was very good. I had the Eggs Benedict and my wife had an omelette and both were great. PLace had a nice feel to it too.

Lovely cafe with a great selection of both cabinet and menu food. I got the creamy mushrooms on toast which was delicious and large serving for the money. My friend got the blt bagel which came with a side serving of roast potatoes. Only down side is that it gets very busy, noisy and hot in there. We choose to... More

Bagels just how they should be, delicious flavour and texture. service normally good but can be a bit slow in peak times with queues. Also the best Russian fudge in Wellington

Was not happy with this place. Lots of food left on empty tables for 20 mins or more. We told the waitress this but nothing was cleared up. Floor was dirty. The food looks good but my noodles were served lukewarm.

We had some time to kill before a function and had a pulled pork pie and side salad. Finished off with a flat white. Lovely service - all the interactions from paying to the plates being taken away. Food was average to good. The pie was nice and the mixed, roast vegetable salad was ok. They were open on Waitangi... More

We stopped by to have a lunch but it wasn't wonderful - I had a bagel burger (chicken) which was kinda ok (just ok) with old potates - not freshly made. My husband had some noodkes - both dishes were warmed in a microwave oven!!! Coffee not tasty either. However, the staff is nice and they have free wifi

I was just passing thru and I used to come to the old Dixon Street Cafe for years. I met a wonderful young man at the counter who served me, he was really good to talk to, very friendly and he made a great cappuccino, he took extra time out to assist. I do not like microwaves so he offered... More

On our recent visit to Wellington we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and on walking past, decided to have a look. The cabinet food on display looked appealing and healthy fare so we decided to stay. I had a combination of some of the innovative fresh salads available. The offer to warm those suited to heating was appreciated... More

Meet a big group for breakfast and staff were fabulous as we rearranged tables. Great service, yummy food and good venue as lots of space to spread out. Highly recommend and would go there again.

Thank Gissiegirl
