My wife and I called in for lunch, and we had a very pleasant experience. The manager is very happy to talk, and the food was very good. We each had a seafood noodle lunch for $12 and there was a great variety of seafood from baby octopus, squid, fish and prawns in generous numbers. This was accompanied by crisp... More

This is my second night eating here during my 4day stay and the service is very friendly and the food is amazing. Authentic Chinese food. I've saved it on my list to come again during my next visit to New Zealand

Where others failed to allow us to byo beer these folk charged a modest corkage and we could enjoy our own beer of choice. Standard Chinese restaurant decor, central city location, good food and plenty of it. We had the king prawn foo yung and seafood fried rice. Tasty and good value considering the location. I would eat there again.

Went with a completely deaf person and her service dog. The staff didn't mind one bit about the dog, indeed asking questions about how useful he is. The food is brilliant and well priced. We had a buffet and there was enough food for the two of us, but not too much. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, and would highly... More

Excellent service and food was amazing. Had entree and 6 mains between 4 adults and was plenty of food! Great quality and full of flavour. Will return.

I have visited Long Xiang twice over the past couple months, and both times the food has been delicious. It is cooked fresh and all dishes were really yummy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to choose from on the menu, and prices are cheap!

This was a nice surprise. Understated ordinary decor but very fresh nicely flavoured food. Not too expensive at around 15.00 per main and service was extremely friendly and fun. Would go again . Can recommend the sweet n sour pork, satay chicken vegetables and orange beef.

We were a large group (15) looking for an a good value eatery, with an environment that allowed us to talk and enjoy each-others' company. We found it! The welcome, service, hospitality, flexibilty were excellent. The food was surprisingly good - heartily recommend the roast duck. $30/head including corkage on BYO wine (another advantage) and we ate well! Note that... More
