Lovely sunny cafe with large windows and a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and the food and coffee is excellent. Highly recommended. If you are in New Brighton, this is the top pick amongst an excellent few.

This is a great wee cafe, situated at the mouth of the surfside mall in New Brighton. Their coffee is excellent, the cabinet food is ever changing and always glorious and above all the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Great place to chill after...a surf or meander along the beach and the pier. In the afternoons, the sun streams through the windows and there is never a shortage of old and new surf magazines to devour. Our fave place for a coffee and a bite in New Brighton 😊More

Not usually one to venture to New Brighton, but after a Google Search this little gem popped up. What a great find!! Good coffee, yummy breakfast- fresh home made bread. They were so accommodating for our little girl (14 months) brought out her food as...soon as it was ready. It was a little chilly in there, so pleased that the heater was going. Great staff. Will be back to sample home baked treats.More

Visited this bright cafe on a dull day and was instantly cheered up by the friendly service and delicious food. I had the stuffed squash which contained delicious veggies and seeds and there was a side of the nicest tomato relish I've ever tasted. Everything...looked to be made from scratch.More

Heard good reviews on the place so thought I'd check it out. Must say that staff really do make a place. The booth seating is rather horrible as they're so tight to sit in and the decor is really a bit drab..can't help but be...reminded of it's tea room history which I guess some people like. Nice food, hot hot drinks, welcoming and friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. I'll be back.More

Called into this cafe we had heard about for breakfast, the chef was there cooking away and smiling having been up some hours cooking wonderful cakes that we could see. I had buckwheat pancakes while my husband had a full breakfast with greens included and...declared fantastic. My pancakes with light and delicious. Couldn't leave the cafe without buying a couple of chocolate brioche to take on our journed. Coffee was excellent. Recommend you find your way to New Brighton Mall, not easy with all the roadworks in Chch but worth the trip.More
