I love the flavor and all the ingredients! It's a big portion so if you're hungry, I really recommend. I absolutely love the ramen egg it comes with, I usually don't like eggs but this boiled egg is so good (especially when you take a...bite then leave it in the broth for a bit!) So good, I love it!More
Had a craving for a good ramen so visited this neat food cluster and Sushi Soldier was there. The menu shown several ramens so I chose the Tonkosu Pork which was so good & comforting and delicious broth. Also saw other items on the menu...that I want to try so will be back!!!More
We tried Little High on a Saturday afternoon, and thought we would give Sushi Soldier a go. I had a Donburi, but asked the staff to turn it into a salad for me, and they willingly obliged. It was pretty tasty and my wife had...similar. Service was excellent and very relaxed.More
Sometimes you will get something incredibly delicious, other times you will get a couple of pieces of chicken in a bowl full of lettuce and rice. I stopped going to Sushi Soldier because of how inconsistent they are, however I thought I would give them...another go, I went last week and got a teriyaki chicken don buri and it was incredible, so much flavour, super tasty, lots of food. Thought I would go again for lunch today and it was a different story, I got a few pieces of chicken lumped on some bland rice with a whole heap of lettuce and a small bit of spring onion. Incredibly disappointing and obviously no consistency between chefs. For $14 I would expect more, so many other options at little high I honestly wouldnt bother with this one.More
We ordered the tonkatsu ramen, karaage chicken and of course, the matcha ice cream.
The tonkatsu ramen’s presentation was poor and really different from the photo. I didn’t even notice the egg because it was buried under everything. However, it was delicious, especially the pork...and egg. For $14, I expected more than 2 thin slices of pork and half of a very small egg.
The matcha ice cream was tasty but a bit expensive ($5), but I’ll definitely be back for the occasional treat. The girl who made the ice cream wasn’t that great, our ice cream was noticeably shorter and was touching the tissue.More
Ordered the salmon poke salad bowl ($14) which came in an incredibly small portion. The shallow takeaway bowl contained a few miserable stalks of undressed greens, two bites worth of sushi rice, some pickled veg and a tiny portion of salmon. I was left hungry...after that.More
