Had the rissole burger . Extremely ordinary & extremely overpriced! Nice place to sit at, shame about the food.

Maybe the chef was having a bad day, or maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, but never in the past have we sat down to a Caesar Salad which was so far off the mark. Lettuce drowned in mayo, fatty bacon, altogether unappetising and our side order of wedges were overcooked, dry and tasteless. As hungry as we were... More

We had a very tasty lunch at Oscars and revisited for a great breakfast two days later. It is a restaurant we always visit when we go to the Hunter and it doesn't disappoint.

The whole roast chicken at the price was so worth it. This is the second time that I had the roast chicken & it' good. Served with salad a & heap of chips, it can feed a family of 3 to 4. Plenty of salad choices. Lovely cafe/restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating.

We stopped here for breakfast over the weekend and everything was great. Nice to sit out on the deck in the shade! Good friendly service, the meal portions for breakfast were very generous and reasonably priced. It was all delivered promptly as well! Will definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area.

This little cafe was totally amazing. We were in the Hunter Valley for a couple of days and on the lookout for vegetarian food as our son and his fiance are vegetarian. Most restaurants/cafes had only 1 or maybe 2 dishes. The choices in this cafe were fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We were served pretty quickly... More

Usual cafe food here. I had the rissol burger which was delicious but paying almost $80 for two burger meals and two kids nugget meals is excessive. The burgers were nice with a small side of chips. Kids meal included a juice. Overall it was a yummy lunch but expensive for a cafe lunch.
