Had a grapevine room, great view. Room quite large with chairs and table out front to sit. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to Brokenback Bar and The Mill Restaurant.

We stayed at Tuscany Estate and the breakfast included is at the Mill Restaurant. It's a little stroll to the restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The outlook is lovely and the décor is quite up market. The food was pretty typical for a buffet - nothing special but nothing bad either.

It was Valentines Day so plenty of couples enjoying a meal. Absolutely first class in every aspect. It amazes me that we have the best produce, best chefs, best wine, best wait staff and best location in the world here at the Hunter Valley.

The food here is very lovely. I can highly recommend the citrus soufflé as a dessert and the beef wagyu. The stand out at the restaurant was the wait staff who were very friendly and non-judgmental of a solo diner.

We don't consider ourselves foodies and can be a bit picky, so the sophisticated menu presented some challenges. However the waiter was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the interesting combinations presented. The pork belly was superb and the flavour accompanying the lamb back strap were just wonderful. It was a quiet night, so the servers were very attentive. The... More

Great venue but wait staff had very little idea about anything in the menu and had to keep going to consult the kitchen also very slow and inattentive. Scallops were cold, lamb breast was all fat not only inedible couldn't even cut it, spatchcock was bizarre the way the breast was served like tiny pieces of sausage, poached salmon in... More

Whilst we were not in the main restaurant and therefore lost some of the beautiful view of the valley, we were so well looked after by our waiter we couldn't want more. Food was excellent - we had the two course menu (don't think we could have fitted a third in). I had the wagyu rump which was cooked perfectly... More

We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant. Its menu seemed interesting - had a nice twist on "surf and turf" in several dishes. When we arrived, it was half full, but we overheard the waiters apologising to customers for the long wait for food. (A slight concern!). The restaurant then filled up quickly. What happened next was an excruciating... More

Menu was full of "yes please" items as part of the $65 for 2 courses package. Staff were very attentive, without being over the top. Wine is available by the glass, which gives you the opportunity to try several different glasses.

This restaurant is typical of the 'tourist' hotels in the Hunter Valley. Food that was very fashionable twenty years ago. The service is friendly and the staff make an honest attempt to provide enthusiastic and professional service. The gnocchi and eye fillet are both excellent- the set menu costs are ideal as you full understand what it is you are... More
