Probably the best in Coolangatta for Indian food. Holiday relaxed style. Curries were a little on the small side.

Every time we have come to Cooley we have a night at this place and every time we are never disappointed. I like my curries hot and order them extra hot here. The naan bread is crispy and the sauce authentic and spicey. The service...More
Upon entering we were greeted warmly and felt relaxed. We ordered the palak kofta, cheesy naan, raita, pappadums and enjoyed everything. Prices a little expensive for this type of cuisine but we could taste the care in these dishes. Thumbs up
We come here every time we are on holidays at Coolangatta and the last time was a bit disappointing. Service was great but the restaurant was very messy with dirty tables not cleaned for the entire time we were there for our meal and tables...More
Sorry guys, this food was worse than packet curries from the supermarket and we eat those happily. Small portions -90% sauce, 10% chicken or whatever. Cheap but no value.

We were pleasantly surprised with the good quality food and service at this small BYO restaurant. We shared a vegetable samosa entree, palak kofta curry, shah jahan lamb curry and a cheese and garlic naan, all superband more than enough. We will be back.
The food is above average but not a spicy as expected even when asked for "hot' curry. Very pleasant atmosphere and BYO. Good Indian but not outstanding.
