I'm in two minds about this place now. It's a basic pub and I shouldn't expect more than that but for some reason I do. Definitely no frills but food was always good. Just something isn't quite as good as it was before.
Being one of the few real pubs remaining in Mackay, it's such a shame this place is such a let down. The public bar smells terrible and is dark and dingy and the food was average at best with service taking forever.
