Restaurant looked inviting so we thought we'd give it a go. Staff were very friendly. The mains we had were average but the desserts were yum. Wish we'd just ordered bread and dessert!

Myself and two friends attended Brisbane street for my birthday dinner on a Monday night! We were greeted promptly by a friendly waitress! Seated and given a very extensive wine list which we were quite impressed with! The food was thoughtfully prepared with care and...More

There is a reason this place is my favourite restaurant in Launceston, It serves delicious food, changing every season but always keeping the quality. The cost is on the higher side for a Launceston restaurant, but well worth it in my opinion. Treat yourself!

Formal bistro. Located in a converted house, 2 blocks from Launceston CBD. Menu terrific, including a degustation option. Very reasonably priced. Wine list not expansive, and menu very much on the red wine side of most peoples' preference. Meals very large for "fine dining' ....More

Nice dining environment and lovely staff. The dishes were nice too. But oysters were not fresh enough. Price was quite high. I guess much of the cost goes to decoration but not the food.

sorry you didn't think the oysters weren't fresh enough. our oysters are delivered alive and are shucked to order,I'm pretty sure you can't get much fresher than that.

The decor is nice enough and the staff were unobtrusive and helpful. The oysters were good - a choice of natural, kilpatrick and vietnamese. The venison was beautifully cooked and the recommended pinot matched perfectly. I was told that the lamb was so tender it...More

Located in an original house that has been brought bang up to date. Menu reads like poetic homage to the taste of everything nearest, matched with regional wines and looks to change regularly with one of the most creative tasting menus we have read anywhere....More

Great French cooking in a beautiful old house. I had lamb shoulder that was excellent. Wonderful ambiance and would be great for a romantic dinner.
