Service is good, food is good. Although my husband said the pizza was good but not the best that he has tasted. I had the chicken and it was delicious. Even though it was a busy night, the waitress found us a table and she...More

We found this restaurant open on a Sunday night when everything around it was closed. Great food, great service, nice décor and furnishings and just a short walk from our hotel. Pity we couldn't stay in Launceston longer because we definitely would have gone back.

3 of us on our last night in Launceston and we wanted Italian. Well we chose the best restaurant ever. From the amazing garlic pizza for entree through to scallops that I never want to be away from we were in gastronomic heaven. My 9...More

We were a group with children. Everyone felt at ease. The service was fine for a mid-range restaurant - courteous, honest and unpretentious. It's a family run restaurant, and you basically get to meet the family. They make fantastic food, every dish was amazingly good....More

Went with a business colleague of mine. I ordered carbonara and he bolognese. Real adventurous hey. We received carbonara and Marinara! Both meals were pretty good and wine excellent. Despite the hiccup the service was good

My wife and I have visited Tasmania a few times now and when we are in Launceston I always make it a point to go to La Cantina and have spaghetti marinara. It is my favourite Italian dish and of all the places I have...More

Spaghetti Marinara was a big dish with lots of seafood, with a fab taste. This was followed by a tiramisu which our waitress said ‘was to die for’. If you did die, you would know for sure that you were in heaven. It was fantastic.
