As we've come to expect after several visits to this stunningly beautiful winery restaurant the whole experience was absolutely faultless. The staff are all well trained professionals and in particular the longstanding sommelier Claire was extremely generous with her expertise and time. The food we had in our 6 course menu was superb and just the right sized portions-we were not not uncomfortably full afterwards but did not need dinner. The one special dietary requirement in our group was happily accommodated. This is a 5 star experience to savour over a leisurely afternoon and is very good value for money.

I have been to many wine taste testing this was by far the best experience. The wine connoisseur her name was Amber (Spanish lady) she was polite and very engaging, spoke about history of the estate, explained the flavours between each wine, I loved it because she wasn’t pushy but taking her time between each wine. I picked the taste testing with complimentary cheese $70, it was so worth it. They also have champagne label which was light and very refreshing. If you like European wine as in reds from Bordeaux, this is the place for you. Next time I visit, I would like to have the luncheon with matching wines. Also joining the wine club is an added bonus due to the discount. Joined the 6 bottles wine club!

Voyager Estate provides a superb menu with good wines and service equal to any restaurant in the country. The setting of the restaurant and the dining room fitout both deserve a mention. Tables are spaced widely, with 'opulent' furnishing and a stunning outlook from each window (tables are placed to provide a view through a single window each - it was really quite lovely). This is a dining room generous with space, and there was no sense of crowding even on a busy day. We selected the seven course tasting menu along with matching wines. Food was fresh and light, with a strong seasonal influence. Menu was mostly French/European inspired. I'm not normally a dessert person, but the salted mandarin and meringue deserves a mention - was really something very special. Wines were matched well, but not always selected from the best of the Voyager Estate range and detracted slightly at times from the experience. I would prefer to have spent a bit more and sampled from the bottom of the wine list, but this did not appear to be an option. The Cab Sav was superb, though. Lunch took about 3 hours, and was paced perfectly.... a skill not to be underrated!! Overall, a dining experience equal to just about any in WA. Go ahead and book - you'll love it.

We booked the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing for a special treat when staying in Margaret River. After nearly not making it as we were let down by the local taxi service, we were still given a very warm welcome, despite being half an hour late (I had rung to let them know what was happening with the cab). In addition, we felt that they had also given us the best seat in the restaurant which we could have forfeited for being late! Our waitress and sommelier were both extremely attentive and helpful, explaining the different courses (food and wine) and given us the background to each dish. We even got postcards before every course which ended up being a nice souvenir. The theme of our meal was BACCA (or Berry) in celebration of the move to Autumn. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My particular favourite was the sardine, cucumber, salad. My hubby's was a Reuben sandwich inspired course. Everything was delicious. We were probably in the restaurant for a good 2.5 hours and no one tried to rush us or speed things up. It was an extremely enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, not cheap, but absolutely worth it. Thank you everyone!

Extremely luxurious and beautiful estate, with buildings reminiscent of the Dutch-influenced South African wineries I’ve been to. The atmosphere is elegant and the experienced refined. Staff are courteous, polite and knowledgable - you can do a counter-top tasting or a seated self-guided flight with food platters. Stunning location that shouldn’t be missed. Would be great for a special occasion too.

We visited Voyager Estate for a simple wine tasting and to see the grounds. It was a quiet morning and the tasting was conducted for just the two of us by a very professional, knowledgable, and courteous woman. It was a pleasure to sit with her and discuss wines generally, and Voyager specifically. The grounds of Voyager are truly lovely, so don't miss out on exploring it.

We did the Origin tasting here which was seated with 6 wines and a cheese plate. It was a very chilled experience with the perfect balance of info and chat and also time by ourselves to appreciate and talk in a fabulous location. We spent close to 2 hours here with a quick walk around the gardens afterwards. The wine was great (we ended up becoming members), every interaction was friendly and welcoming and good deals on some wine.

What an amazing experience my day at Voyager Estate was, firstly I went on a tour of the vineyard with the very personable & knowledgeable Sommelier Florian before he conducted a tasting of 6 Voyager Estates superb wines in a private tasting room. This was followed by a magnificent 7 course lunch in the restaurant with matching wines served by delightful waitstaff over a 3 hour period. All up the total experience is over 5 hours and was easily the most memorable experience I had in Margaret River.

We were in a group of 6 and our tour guide was Shaun who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the estate. He took the time to answer all of our questions and took pride in showing us around. We even met the head winemaker which was a bonus. At the end of the tour we had a short wine tasting session followed by a cheeseboard with a complimentary glass of wine from those we tasted. Some of the people on the tour did not drink at the wine tasting so Shaun brought them some grape juice made from the estate. Overall a great informative tour made more pleasurable thanks to Shaun.

Probably one of the worst experiences at a Margaret river winery…just wanted to sit and have a bottle of wine by the fire in the restaurant section…worth noting not a single person in there, and were told that unless we eat to leave! Restaurant manager was beyond rude and arrogant to the point that we left with absolutely no want to ever return. Glad voyager are arrogant enough o think that this is the way to treat guests that otherwise were big supporters. When we mentioned that this has really changed our opinion of the winery and it’s made it difficult to want to return…’his comment was ‘ that’s fine’ we’ll I hope the owners find ‘it find’ to treat locals like this. Disgusted and we won’t ever be back!!

My husband and I came here for a wine tasting and were immediately impressed with the beautiful and immaculate gardens on entering the Estate. The winery is like a chateau and very European in style. The young gentleman (I think he was from Brazil) who served us in the cellar door was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We tasted several wines which were very nice, particularly the older wines. The decor in the restaurant was stunning with beautiful fresh flowers on the tables which added a nice touch. I wished we could have stayed for lunch but we had already booked to go somewhere else. We will definitely have to come back to this fabulous winery to try their degustation lunch next time we visit Margaret River.

We, a party of 6, ordered the 4 course set lunch and a bottle of red wine. We were not impressed but the quality and I think the restaurant is overrated and not good value for money! I tasted better degustation meals. The main pork dish was especially bad, not much taste and a bit red and bloody. Not recommended, Fisnbone may be a better choice!

Great atmosphere, surroundings, attentive staff and very tasty 7 course degustation menu. The pairing with wine (selected a flight (smaller glasses per serve)) was really well done and I enjoyed even Chardonnay, which I don't drink usually. In really, there were more courses with additional starters and petit desert. Starters, kangaroo dish and desert were my favorites, but all dishes were very enjoyable. It is difficult to select which winery to attend for lunch, but i definitely would recommend this one, if you have time for a long enjoyable lunch experience.

My wife and I visited Voyager restaurant recently. I have been holding back on writing this review because we have had a number of good, indeed very good, meals there over the last few years and I did not want to "put the boot into" the restaurant for one bad lapse. However, our most recent experience was not of the same calibre as previous visits and it is worth explaining why. There seemed to be a distinct failure to season the food which had not been the case on prior visits. In plain parlance, the food lacked flavour. it was just painfully bland. I looked over to a table of 10 people who I picked up from conversation were visiting from Singapore where flavour is everything in what they eat. Frankly, as a West Australian, I felt embarrassed that these visitors were being offered food from a supposedly high end venue which was bordering on tasteless. This review is not just to have a whinge and I rarely write reviews of any kind. It is to bring to the chef's attention that this fare, particularly at the prices charged, was unacceptable and won't be encouraging anyone else to come to WA and visit Voyager. Don't forget that everything served is immediately photographed and reviewed for friends and relatives back home whether that be China, Singapore, the UK, Malaysia, Sydney, Melbourne or elsewhere. One of my friends who is a chef in Perth suggested it might be as simple as the chef having a bad hair day or a fight with his girlfriend. Whatever the reason, please lift your game or risk losing the status and patronage you've successfully built up over time.

Voyager Estate put on a fabulous evening degustation menu and wine paring. Upon arrival we sat outside under the trees, overlooking the beautiful grounds with a glass of bubbles and a tasting plate. Once inside, the menu unfold and we began our culinary journey. Each exquisite dish was carefully construct and pared to Voyagers delicious wines. The staff are excellent and passionate about their craft. They made the evening very special. We wined and dined for over 4 hours. These evening events are a must do. This is our second event and a third is on the cards and will include lunch the next day 😀
