Took the time to turn off the main drag and found a great place for lunch. The menu range was great and what we ordered was well executed. Great setting even if the local birdlife wouldn't sit still long enough for a photo. The adjacent gallery is also well worth a look.

Thank you! Mel, Shane and I had an 'extra-great' day at work yesterday with loads of great people coming in through the doors. It can take a fair while to get 'that shot' of the wrens - they are super busy little guys. Just when you think they are still, off the dart. PS Rastus- Love the name - it... More

As my title might suggest this place is pretty awesome. Cafe boranup is located right next to the gallery off the iconic caves road and serves up a nice range of cafe-style meals, delicious breakfast and excellent coffee (what more do you need if you've been out with the kids, or in need of a caffeine punch after windy night... Thanks Wolfgang L! There is some seriously uninviting camping weather coming this week, and we are BYO, so feel free to bring a little tipple to add to your coffee next time! ;) You won't be the first, and probably not the last. Thanks for relaxing with us. More

Can't believe that someone can make an egg on toast with bacon sooo nice. This kitchen is quality, good for them considering they are so tucked away. Five stars chef, keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for your review! The bacon is from our local butcher, it's the best I know of. And the eggs are free range so I guess that helps! Breakfast is an important meal of the day - it's gotta be great! More

Another great visit to one of our favourites! Very enjoyable & seriously yummy brunch with friends after a hard ride on the forrest trails, can't be beaten 😊 They are also now serving my fave Turmeric latte with almond milk which was delicious, they also do a beetroot latte with coconut milk which is nice too, give them a try.... Had the lamb pasta special and the whiting and chips. Both great. Good value too which is unusual in this region. Surrounded by blue wrens, honey eaters and bob tails. Great lunch and awesome coffee too.

Great news that you had a lovely experience! The blue wrens get all the glory, but I'm also an avid Honey Eater fan! Those guys are so busy in the woolly bushes some days, it's amazing to watch. More

We had a nice meal of crocodile and a shared platter sitting in the deck overlooking the Forrest. A nice drive from Margaret river and some excellent places to stop off for photo opportunities on the way. Friendly staff and prices are reasonable

Good coffee, great location and a nice menu with a selection of tasty breakfast options and simple lunch items. It was a surprise hit amongst the backdrop of tall trees. I had the chilli chicken burger and it was the best chicken burger I had for a long time. The abalone was pretty good too. Highly recommend.

Had a coffee and a savoury muffin after visiting the gallery next door. Pleasantly surprised with the eclectic menu and everything looked really fresh. Loved the sign welcoming breast feeding mothers, to relax and get a free drink!

Thanks for your review! Yes, breast and bottle feeding mums get a free coffee, tea, choc etc... it's a 'thing' we started a few years ago, and it's a lovely way to give back to our customers, who are, after all, bringing us the very newest of future customers! :) More

A cute little cafe in the forest, with the stunning Boranup Gallery next door. Cafe Boranup is 4kms South of Lake Cave on Caves Road Forest Grove, keep an eye out or our sign.
