Having eaten a large quantity of steak during on stay in Western Australia we opted for something different at Teddis Big Spoon with Korean BBQ food. We had the Chicken spicey salad Yuzacha and a mixture of meat. The service and food was very good and it made for something different from the normal options we chose.

What a find this place was! The food was superb. We had tempura prawns which were cooked to perfection, the prawn dumplings and the Korean bbq wagyu eye fillet and spicy salad. It was all brilliant. It is BYO so remember to bring your drink of choice but plenty of bottle shops close by. Don’t miss this one if you’re in the area. And great value for money was a bonus.

We haven't tried Korean food before so decided to give it a go. This restaurant is very busy and so we definitely recommend booking ahead. The place was packed with lots of families there. Love the fact that it is BYO which makes dining out more affordable. Only $5.00 corkage for a bottle of wine, beers and soft drinks are free of charge. We tried the Beef and Pork set which included rice and choice of salad. The waitress gave us instructions on how to use the Korean barbecue and assisted us. The meat was delicious and very tender. Only complaint would be that the portion sizes are quite small. Other than that we enjoyed it.

Very disappointing experience. Entree and two mains arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. Dumplings dry and tough. Chicken noodles arrived before entree finished. They were half cold and very bland. The beef stock pot came at same time despite us stating we were sharing when ordering. It was also bland and tasteless. Nothing was freshly cooked. Young waitress was uninterested when I pointed out that we didn’t expect every course to be served together, and so quickly. They charged corkage, despite us only consuming half a glass each due to the haste in delivering the meal.

We chose the beef BBQ plate and ordered a second round because we loved it. Mouth watering food and the sauce and salad complimented it nicely. It’s a small venue so make sure you book (in the Summer holidays it’s hard to find restaurants that are even open, let alone not fully booked).

First time here and we were impressed. It was clean and I would say cosy considering the weather outside. Prompt attention and help with ordering the dishes. The seafood hotpot was delicious with plenty of seafood in it, a big dish. The bolgolbi was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this eatery, couldn’t fault it. Well done!

Yummy Prawn Tempura appetiser and Pork Dumplings. I had yummy generous Spicy Chicken Noodles and my husband had Pork Katsu (we asked for a bit of extra sauce for katsu and were immediately served happily). Tasty, spicy and good service. Thank you.

I was surprised to see a Korean BBQ down south and figured I would give it a try. This turned out to be a big mistake. We purchased the beef and pork set, expecting something similar to what you would get in the many Korean bbq restaurants in Perths' CBD. The set came with very small portions of meat (the quality of the meat was not better than what you would get in Perth), a measly three pieces of lettuce, and none of the sides you typically get with Korean BBQ (e.g. gochujang, different sorts of pickled vegetables, kimchi, few different sauces). The portion sizes and lack of sides were disappointing considering the price and what you get for a comparative amount of money in Perth. The waiter was friendly, albeit a little bit patronizing. He probably should have asked us if we tried Korean bbq previously before giving lengthy instructions. All in all, I have never still felt hungry after Korean bbq.

We dropped into this restaurant during the no man's time, in most restaurants, of around 3.45pm. Happily we were seated with menus and enjoyed spicy chicken thighs with rice & crispy seaweed, and succulent seafood - fresh prawns, mussels, calamari in delicious sauce. We very much appreciated the fast, professional service and fantastic food. Phone kept ringing with dinner reservations. A find.

The food is absolutely amazing. However, we visited the restaurant again on Friday night, we expected it would be busy so we said we could wait. But the waitress refused for us to wait. She could register us on the waiting list but she didn’t. That’s not how you run a business, unfortunately.

We went as a group of 8, four adults and four kids for 6.30pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant was fully booked (so glad we booked ahead) and had a great atmosphere. This was the highlight of our trip, so much fun, the kids LOVED cooking their own meal, they were entertained by this all evening. The food was delicious, we chose dumplings, rice and the beef BBQ sets plus soy chicken. We also had the Tofu, so delicious. It was also BYO. Really great service. We will definitely be back.

What a fabulous Korean bbq on the main street of Margaret River! Ordered the premium set and it was delicious, as was the spicy salad and the miso soup included in the order. As a tip, ask for kimchi as it is included at no charge.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The King Prawn pasta was amazing full of flavour & heaps of prawns & seafood. I cannot recommend this place more highly, definitely a great place to eat with so much variety of great food. Can’t wait to go again. The staff are also so professional & helpful

My wife and I visited for dinner. We visited on a Thursday night and the place was packed, which is always a good sign (Remember to book as you might not get a table). The restaurant is quite small and the tables are close together. However this adds to the atmosphere so no problems there. We were quickly greeted and given a table for two. They have a good menu consisting mainly of, surprise, surprise barbeque meats and vegetables. However, there are a few other items there and I highly recommend the pork and chive dumplings. Absolutely superb. As you probably know, at Korean bbq restaurants, you cook your own meats. Each table is equipped with a small bbq and exhaust fan. We ordered several types of meat. Highly recommend the chili pork belly. They are thinly sliced so cook in about 1-2 minutes. Absolutely delicious. There is also a vegetable plate that you can cook, a good accompaniment to the meat as they are delicious barbecued. The restaurant has a wide range of drinks. Their post mix drinks are really good and they offer some unusual non alcoholic flavours. They also offer some very different desserts. I highly recommend the corn ice cream. When it is served it is made to look like a corn cob. Quite sweet and tastes a bit like banana (Maybe they had some in there) but very nice. The other dessert to try are the Korean rice doughnuts. They are quite small and, due to being made from rice flouir, very light. They came straight out of the oven with a chocolate filling. Yum!! The service was good. They were prompt and efficient and were always available to provide advice when barbecuing your meat. I highly recommend this place, especially on a cold winters night.

Korean bbq is all about the quality and freshness of the meat. Luckily Teddy’s knocks it out the park on both fronts. We tried the chicken and beef platters just to get the best of both worlds. The chicken was tender and juicy while the beef cuts melted like butter. This needs to be on your list if you love good Asian grilled food.
