I have been often. The location is great as are the fish and chips but the price of the wine???? $37 for a $13 bottle of wine? We all want to get rich but this is ridiculous. I understand the costs involved and a %100 mark-up is standard not %200 +

Fresh, crisp, lightly battered deep fried fish of your dreams. One order of fish and chips was more than enough for two of us and it was very, very good! The fish was clearly very fresh. The batter was so crisp, it almost shattered. Delicious! Take it next door, order a beverage, and pull up a stool to watch the... More

We often escape to the wharf for timeout. The coffee is great, always something interesting happening on the water with the tide going in and out. By the way the fish and chips are the best every time.

Fish and chips was our dinner one night. At this place you choose your kind of fish, 5 kinds at our visit. You also choose from several kinds of potatisen. We took 2 portions of fish and one portion of chips ( one scoop). That was enough for the two of us! Great atmosphere. Lokals grabbing there fish and chips... More

We have travelled the length and breadth of New Zealand over a number of years, and can honestly say this is consistently the very best fish and chips we've eaten in the whole of the country - the setting there is lovely at the waters edge, staff in the cafe are helpful and charming, and you can get a properly... A friend introduced us to this little gem. We got a humongous scoop of chips and very large fresh fish all for a reasonable price. The views over the water and wharf were stunning

This has to be the best kept secret in Thames! There's a fish shop with fresh fish to take home or they do fish and chips while you wait, and the coffee shop next door has great coffee and cakes. The fish shop will even deliver your order while you sip your coffee. It's lovely sitting outside on the wharf... More

Good coffee and a great place to drink it. Fantastic fish and chips available too and probably the best place in Thames to eat them.

Yummy classic fish and chips by the water. Great staff and good value - $9 for good portion of snapper and chips. We arrived early - around 1130 and it filled up quickly from then so get there early! Can take away or eat in the cafe.

Thank jutran
