On the recommendation of our motel, we enjoyed a fine and well priced NZ lamb roast with good serving of vegetables.

We went to a couple of different places looking for a family friendly restaurant . Found Steamers - they had kids meals which suited us. Huge meals for adults and kids, super quick service and staff were very obliging . Would recommend to similar groups

We were in Nz traveling the South Island and looking for somewhere nice to stop for lunch. We stopped into Steamers Carvery and it was delicious. A welcoming environment, friendly service and a traditional roast with all the trimmings. Missing a home cooked meal this was just what we needed. Well worth the visit.

It was wet and warm and we were starving. Large meals for a reasonable price, selection of salads as well as vegetables. We liked the decor and the building was very attractive. It smelt like home as soon as you walked in the door. Several other options as well as carvery. There was also a childrens menu which was appreciated.

This is a typical country pub. The decor has an old world charm and a warmth about it. The food was not bad. We arrived late in the day from Christchurch and had little time left before everything shuts in Greymouth. Most places close around 8 to 8:30pm. So we were fortunate to still get in at 7:45pm. Unfortunately they... More

Nice place to pop in for a carvery roast meal. Easy to find location being centrally located in greymouth. Parking is plenty and range from their menu is good. Some history on the walls as well from the large flood in Greymouth in 1988

Situated in Greymouth township this place has dated decor and a dated menu. Garlic bread and shrimp cocktail. Our group ordered 2 t-bones (one medium rare, one rare) a porterhouse and a roast pork. The steaks were large and cooked to perfection as were all of the meals. Actually these were some of the best cooked steaks I had in... More

I had a roast pork lunch, it was very nice, reasonable price & plenty of vegetables. Good atmosphere & polite friendly staff. I have been here several times and will be back.

No chicken, no roast meat left. Didn't seem to care. Not much left to choose from, just chips, chips and chips.

You have option of large or $14 small both with vegetables. It was nice to get some vegetables and NZ lamb.
