My husband and I had a casual lunch here. It was good. Not super noteworthy, but good. The staff was good. There was plenty of varied types of seating choices. O had the nachos, my husband had a burger. Both were good. I have the feeling they are more exciting for breakfast.

Ordered a free range eggs, bacon and toast set for our first breakfast in NZ. Lady there was very attentive and saw that we were sharing our utensils and brought us and additional set. Had it at their outdoor seats. Great view, fresh air, great food and service - what else can you ask for?

The Op shop ladies said that the Beach House was the place to go. So we did and weren't disappointed. We both had the Burger of the Day, delicious meat with the best Aioli I've tasted in a while.

The cafe is on the highway so really convenient for travellers. The coffee was of a high standard and we also enjoyed the pizza and slice we order to go with it. The cafe location is a house and has several rooms and plenty of table choices.

Really good service. A substantial GF menu which they adapted for the children. Great food. Clean bathroom.

Nice little cafe. Breakfast was really yum and coffee was good to. But we waited far to long for two breakfasts we were starting to think they had forgotten about us we were ready to get up and leave. it wasn't even that busy!

We were in a large group of people who ordered a wide variety of breakfasts, but all agreed their meal was delicious.

Found this place after staying at the hostel next door. Although it's a little out the main bit of kaikoura, it's definitely worth the 5 minute walk to it. A few of us had the blueberry pancakes which were yummy and fluffy and served with hazelnuts and grilled banana. Someone else had poached eggs and bacon on toast which looked... More

A small and intimate cafe just yards from the Kaikoura Top Te. Holiday Park. Excellent coffee, great cakes. We had Oaty Caramel slice and Citrus Skice. Both were superb. Unlike many it does have free WiFi. Staff very efficient and friendly
