As a chocoholic, no surprises that the chocolate brownie with hay ice cream was always going to be my pick. What did surprise was that the plate of chocolate confections that ensued from that ordinary title, could be so sublime. Don't miss it!

A great setting for a wedding or a special meal. Beautiful in winter and must be amazing in summer. So many places to visit and a special climate

As it was a Tuesday we were offered the limited Winter menu which is for Mon - Thursday. Our waitress was excellent with very good explanations to our questions and she provided excellent service. Decent selection of wines and a great little deck view over vineyards. Families dropped by and all worked to make this a very pleasant stop. Well done...

We recently had our 40th anniversary at Te Awa Restaurant and what an occasion. We had friends and family join us from all over New Zealand and the general comment was how fantastic the occasion was. The food was outstanding the service was impeccable and Emma was fantastic in organizing everything to make the occasion as great as it was.

Having really enjoyed the beautiful setting previously, we really fancied more of the same as it was such a stunning warm day. However, despite the restaurant being basically empty bar a few tables full outside, we were told we could not be seated. I questioned why as the restaurant was almost empty, we were told "a booking was expected".....I asked...."what....are... More

Benjamin was really helpful and guided us thoroughly through the wine range. Really interesting information about their particular wines and production. Definitely worth a pop in. They also have a full restaurant.

Lunch with family. Had a lovely charcuterie plate, and small plates of duck, washed down by a very nice chardy.Everything was lovely, especially the duck. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
