This is very short and normally would not bother writing a review over just a coffee. However having been served the smallest average rubbish coffee and totally ripped me off at £3.50 over something I will probably get about 4 sips out of I felt...More

We went at a quiet time on a Tuesday. Room was excellent, once I worked out how to use the coffee machine. The room was surprisingly quiet and my wife is sensitive to noise. Food good, particularly breakfast. However mind the steps, particularly if you...More

We stayed overnight on our walk along Shakespeare's Way which runs past the Black Horse and could not have asked for a better meal with staff who took an interest and were attentive. The bathroom with worth a stay in itself!,

The restaurant has a great ambience not matched by the cost of the lunch which was a total rip off. £60 for two salads, two glasses of prossecco and two coffees.

Looking a quick lunch stop off prior to a business meeting and fell upon this place. Excellent, good value, fresh food. Good service also. Wished I could have bagged in the business meeting and stayed here for the rest of the afternoon.

Went with friends for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed at all. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Two of us had a traditional rib of beef which was perfectly cooked and not overdone like most places with a great selection...More
