Cooinda Lodge is great, the Barra Bar and Bistro do simple but tasty meals. They also have a buffet lunch on offer which is great value. There is also a lovely resort pool which is a must in the NT weather!! Love this place.

You couldn't be blamed for thinking that if a restaurant was the only one for 60kms that the quality or service mightn't be up to standard... but in the case of the Barra Bar and Bistro, you would be wrong. I know I was. My partner said she had the best beef burger in a long time, and my steak... More

We weren't expecting much as rooms are tired but food was fabulous both for dinner and breakfast. Small selection of meals but very tasty and diverse enough to eat for a few nights running. Great food!

Good if you like outdoor / alfresco drinks and eating, with gardens near and pool adjacent, overhead fans. Has a tropical feel which might be a bit warm for some. Food is average quality pub style, order at the bar and collect when buzzed, no table service.

Reasonably priced. We had an excellent platter of kangaroo, crocodile and buffalo sausages. Great to try local food. There is also food available for less adventurist people.

After a day of exploring Kakadu and on our way back up tour accommodation in Jabiru, our bellies were rumbling as we approached Cooinda Resort/Lodge and so we pulled in to fill up on whatever nosh they offered. We all went with the fish and chips, the service was good, the food came out fast, fresh and hot and although... More

Toilets full of faeces and unable to flush. Toilet water? all over cubicle floor. Staff member informed but nothing done. Salad soggy and mouldy. Drunken staff members using golf buggy entertainment for themselves. Terrible!

This is the only place to eat at cooinda resort! It has great pub food! The barramundi is beautiful and ate it every night! Bar is great but they don't make cocktails! Coffee is very good too! Would recommend it!

We stopped here for dinner after a glorious sunset cruise with the Yellow Water wetlands cruise. The menu includes a good choice of Aussie dishes and in particular, the NT Barramundi and the 250g steak is highly recommended. The bar service staff were very friendly and courteous. The chefs can be seen in action behind the servery and they are... More

Food was what you would expect from a lodge with zero competition within 50kms. Good enough to eat, not unpleasant At all, but extremely expensive (think $12 for garlic bread), and no prizes for the food. Staff are very helpful, and a good experience overall, but if you have the foresight, get something from Darwin or wherever you're coming from... More
