We had a wonderful stay at the Jashita and took all our meals at the Sahara restaurant. The breakfast is superb. Clemente the owner is a wonderful host and makes sure that every part of your meal/experience is top notch. His staff is very kind, friendly. The coffee he serves is of excellent quality & attentive. My wife and I have visited this place several times now and they never fail to please. During our last visit my wife dropped her knife. It was comical to watch as 2 servers immediately ran to replace it. Only to return to the table to see that I already gave her mine which I wasn't using. We own a... More

We stayed at the Jashita hotel for a week so ended eating at the Sahara (the restaurant is one the hotel) 5 out of 14 meals. Great staff. The food is always fresh. Go for the grilled shrimp with the garlic or the spaghetti with calamari... you will not be disappointed.

We went their for dinner to dine on their Med style food and was given a menu that had breakfast, lunch and page full of Mexican food in Spanish. we asked the waiter for an English menu and thought they changed menus away from the Mediterranean style they were known for. Waiter said they did not have it in English.... More

This place is gorgeous - very Zen and Asian in décor. We ate all meals here for 7 days and nights and were never disappointed. If you stay at the Jashita. a sumptuous breakfast is included. At lunch I loved the Ceviche and the fish tacos. At dinner the fish was perfect as was the beef and the home-made pasta.... More

We were staying on Soliman bay at a rental. Walking distance for us to go there. They were very attentive and kind. Excellent food and atmosphere. The price was not bad for the delicious food that was served. Drinks were very good and potent like I like em.

The setting of the Sahara Cafe is magical It is located right on the beach in Soliman Bay--about 20 minutes from the Tulum ruins, and feels very private and peaceful. We went with a group of ten and felt like we were in our private home, seated where we didn't see a single other diner in an outdoor garden setting... More

Lovely atmosphere and location. We went for dinner (party of five) on a slow Sunday evening. They brought all the food at once rather than as courses - not good and we weren't told that's how they'd do it. Filet ordered medium rare was served rare; filet ordered medium was medium well or more. Lobster okay. Couple other courses okay.... More
