Attended a networking business dinner at the D&P, the food was absolutely superb, staff very friendly and a really good choice of drinks at the bar. It's a bit tucked away but well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Delightful polish owned and run gastro pub in Sunnnghill; mainly retaurant now rather than pub; quirky individual design and family feel. Lovely friendly staff. Food is excellent and menu choices mean that there's always something interesting to eat. Good wines; good bar and fun barman. Go back regularly and will continue doing so. A wonderful neighbourghood place to eat.

We hadn't been to the D&P for a while so when we found the Carpenters down the road full we decided to give it a try. They've had a refurb and it's very trendy now, spanking new toilet which makes a change in a pub. However, the bar area is tiny and you'll either be sitting at a small table... More

A lovely early Tuesday evening meal was had by my friend and I. We sat outdoors undercover and enjoyed a glass of rose wine each, followed by an excellent meal of sea bass for me (with gluten free and dairy free onion rings) and a burger for her. The service is always smiling and attentive and the food is appropriately... More

Held a Family birthday party on Sunday lunchtime for eight people, including one toddler and really enjoyed the experience. We used the pub many years ago and really enjoyed it, but have to say it's even better now. Grace and Thomas coulndlt have been better hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the food and service were tip-top - as... More

First ever visit to The Dog & Partridge and was certainly not disappointed. From the outside it just looks like a typical village pub. However, upon entering it is quite modern and not what you'd expect. The menu was not huge but what was on there was excellent. I had the chicken curry and my partner had the chicken burger... More

Haven't been here for years, the pub has been miraculously transformed and is stunning, a west end feel in the heart of rural Berkshire. A well stocked bar and fabulous food seven of us all each having a superb meal, and a nice cheese board too.very reasonably priced and excellent staff, you'd be mad not to give it a try.

Visited with friends today and had a lovely time. Food was good and service was exceptional. I had the veggie roast and it was very tasty, so nice to have a decent option for a Sunday lunch rather than having to have a veggie burger etc. My friend is coeliac and the staff were very knowledgeable (and went to double... The Dog and Partridge offers a comfortable space for socialising and meeting friends over a drink or two or having a meal in our well established restaurant. Part of our success is the warm welcome you get from the owners Grace and Tomasz and the rest of our staff. Our team of chefs are fanatical about producing fresh food that taste great and that means sourcing ingredients locally and cooking it fresh every day. We have a diverse range of products that are healthy and delicious and some that are a little naughty but still delicious.
With a good choice of food and drink, open fire, brilliant garden and a warm welcome to both locals and those visiting our area no wonder the Dog and Partridge is bustling with people. With an added bonus of being able to bring your dog booking a table to eat specially at the weekends is a must.
