Visited for a belated staff xmas do on Wednesday night. Whilst the food is quite plain and simple it is very well cooked and the presentation is excellent The portions sizes were a bit hit and miss - the pizzas were huge as was the mac cheese but 7/8 chips with the scampi was a bit mean!!! That said they... More

As we have a caravan nearby we frequent a lot of the local pubs and the Harbour is our clear favourite in the area. Visited yesterday and once again had great service and lovely food - the sirloin steak is my particular favourite but the wife's fishcakes were also excellent. Do not understand the negative reviews as every time we... More

Have visited here over several years on annual trip to Lyme Regis. The building is nice and friendly inside and good for dogs. Can get very busy when the camp site is full. Service varies. The evening meal service was spot on although the food was not as good as in the previous years. In late afternoon on the previous... More

Arrived at 7 on Tuesday evening. They managed to fit 6 of us in but was pretty cramped. They took the drinks order instantly but took 20 minutes for drinks to arrive which is ridiculous really even if they were a bit busy. It wasn't until 7:35 that our food order was taken which was 35 mins after we had... More

We have used this pub many times when staying in the area. Rang to make a reservation, the person answered with a hello, no mention of the Harbour Inn. Made the booking and was not asked what time I was going to arrive. We decided to cancel booking after a few days. Rang to inform them and was told it... More

Well if it's not the food then it's staff. First we went there with our baby(5 moths)we were sitted by... More

Having been a local who has visited the harbour regularly over the years I feel the recent improvement from the kitchen should be commented on. Over the past couple of months the food really has come a long way from the usual pub grub. Today there was an issue with one of the meals we ordered and we felt that... More

We are local and have visited the Harbour several times over the past few years, experiencing different levels of quality and service. We like to support the community, and despite having been advised by different friends and neighbours recently that The Harbour appeared to be experiencing a downturn in popularity, we were optimistic that things would have improved. Visiting their... More
